I'm an ancestral witch & energy healer
Disclaimer added 30 Jun 2025: After receiving a wave of hateful comments, I want to clarify a few things. Some people chose to interpret my words through a lens of cynicism or assumption—particularly around the use of the word “pedigree.” I understand that in non-genealogical circles, it can sound cringey or elitist. But in family history, it’s simply the technical term for a lineage chart. That’s all. It is literally called a "pedigree chart".
You can be proud of your lineage without believing you're superior to others. I didn’t choose it. I just chose to honor it, because I believe healing starts with telling the truth about where we come from. I happen to come from the Union side—anti-slavery. That’s part of my ancestry.
Privilege, by the way, can be deeply isolating—especially when you’re queer, disabled, neurodivergent, a single mom, and a non-conformist raised in an abusive household. I’ve never fit the mold people try to shove me into. And for what it’s worth, a lot of my advocacy happens behind closed doors—not because I’m hiding anything, but because I don’t believe in performative allyship.
I believe in being real.I do what I do because it’s right—not because someone’s watching. And if you’re offended by the irony of a ton of rich white men ending up with ME as a descendent, you’re definitely in the wrong place.
Yes my legal name really is Samantha von Delvaux. Once I find the Slavic spelling of Kutschke I am hoping to take it, but until then I am Samantha of the Valley- appropriate since I am from the Fox Valley of Wisconsin! I chose this name to reflect the serendipity of my lineage- it's German and Belgian and reflects both the wealthy urban and rural bloodlines.
I have been a writer for as long as I can remember. I was the grade school kid who would start writing stories for fun.
The truth is there is some nasty energy in this world and I want to be the light. After banishing the negative people in my life I began noticing some huge shifts. Then it hit me: I can help other people, too! We will be talking a lot about generational healing and blessing!
I have loved the dark and creepy my whole life, totally the kid who read Goosebumps. And then 2023-2024 I started feeling them. My ancestors. They hang out at my house a lot. They tell me vague messages. And for someone who grew up alone, they are like a warm hug.
I am a single mom, currently living in Wisconsin. I am hoping to move "back home" to Salem, Massachusetts. I'm proudly autistic as well as LGBT. I'm the biggest nerd you will ever meet, especially with anime and history. I also have several life coach certifications as well as being a reiki master. I am currently undergoing intensive DBT for C-PTSD. I also have backgrounds in singing, dancing (ballroom/Latin and pole), modeling (boudoir, cosplay, and pin-up), and theatre.

My Pedigree/Ancestral Background
If my bloodline understands anything it is resistance. I come from a long line of people who stood up for what they believed in. I am very proud of my pedigree and how all of my great grandparents are "contradictions". I enjoy Slavic, Nordic, and Celtic pagan customs.
Paternal:
Germanized West Slavs (Polish) who lived in communes in West Prussia in resistance of the rising Catholic church; my great grandfather immigrated here as a boy and married the granddaughter of
Prussians/Germans who were Catholic musicians from the Adneau/Coblenz District of Prussia
The Judkins clan (nee Brunet of French Canadian aristocracy) of Kennebec County, Maine (New England); my 2nd great grandfather married into
The Burdick clan (nee Huntington of Connecticut military elite) of Westerly, Rhode Island and Rennesaesler County, New York (New England) with a long history of defying the Puritan church; my great grandfather married the daughter of
Walloon Belgians and Canadians from La Prairie who were farmers
Maternal:
A wealthy Dane from Helsignor, Denmark who married a rural farm girl from Lyngs, Denmark, whose son (my great grandfather) married the daughter of
The aristocratic Mills and Baldwins of Oak Park, Chicago, descended from the most elite of Massachusetts's Colony; my great grandmother has a college education in the early 1920's
My grandmother, a solid 50/50 of both Walloon AND Flemish Belgians- over 99% Belgian DNA
The following were DAR members:
Grandmother Mildred Clausen (nee Mills) De Pere, WI Chapter
2nd GGM Isabel Orne Elizabeth Mills (nee Baldwin) Chicago Chapter (she was president)
3rd GGM Lois Ermaine Baldwin (nee Parkhurst)
I am a member of the Salem, MA Chapter and so excited to continue the tradition!
I am also a member of the Bay Area Genealogical Society.
